Our client, a leading global organisation, is seeking an Agricultural Loss Adjuster or an Agricultural Claims Handler that's seeking the opportunity to move into a field based role. You will reside in or around Shrewsbury and work from home.
You will manage a caseload of Agricultural losses, which may include property damage via various insured perils, crop claims or milk contamination, no 2 days are the same. You will manage your diary and a typical week will see you out on the road 2-3 times per week.
Key responsibilities include detailed investigations, supporting and advising clients on claims issues, and managing client relationships. The role also involves collaboration with colleagues from various business areas, such as Property, Major & Complex Loss, Contractors, and Legal Services, to ensure a thorough and efficient claims process.
To be considered, you will have experience across Agricultural or Equine claims within a desktop or field based environment, knowledge of the insurance market, and experience in writing investigation reports are essential. You will also be proficient in using various software packages and handheld devices, along with excellent negotiation skills and a customer-first approach. In addition, we also welcome applications from those without insurance experience, but with demonstrable farming backgrounds, along with relevant University degrees.
